Daryl returned to Spokane after a number of years as a project manager in Anchorage Alaska, working ten years in high end residential, most of that time with one contractor. It was that experience, with the additional challenges of inclement weather and extreme soil conditions, that honed an instinctive grasp for the trade and set a foundation to start his own business.

In 1993 several custom home projects came his way and thus set a path for Fine Home Building. Over the past two decades DL Brown Fine homes has built countless custom homes and some of the most stunning high-end speculative homes in the area.

In the last couple years, Daryl has included high end remodels to his repertoire of building.

From building in some of the more exclusive developments in the area to developing private home sights, Daryl has cultivated a venerable reputation for quality and design.
